RAISE YOUR HAND if you want $10,000 to start a new business (or to grow the one you’ve got)!

Oh, well, I see that not one person left their hand down. (Other than you, Mr. Grey Hair. You can leave now.) LISTEN UP, FOUNDERS! I have a super awesome announcement that you are going to love.

Fundable, the crowdfunding site designed exclusively for startups, has teamed up with the National Association for the Self-Employed and the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Council for a very special crowdfunding contest. Use the Fundable crowdfunding platform to raise money to start a business (or to expand the business you’ve already got), and you could win an extra $10,000!

Funda-who?

Before I roll out all the details about how you can take advantage of this badass contest, let me back up and give you a little info about Fundable, aka your startup’s new best friend.

Unlike other (maybe better known) sites, the team at Fundable works full on to get your business out there. They’re personable, hardworking, and they really give a shit about you and what you’re doing.

They’ll not only push to make sure the whole world knows what you’re up to, they’ll also provide you with valuable guidance on things like creating a great pitch deck and connecting with the investors who are into what you’re up to.

If you want an example of some of the companies they’ve helped push to success recently, check out BodBot, 3-D Vision, and FIT Radio.

But back to the money!

Here’s how it works: Go to this page. Apply. Wait to see if you get picked. If your startup makes it through the gauntlet of their expert committee, then let the crowdfunding sprint begin!

You know how I asked at the beginning who wanted to win ten grand? Yeah, what I really meant was who wants to win ten grand plus whatever you crowdfund because whichever company meets their goal first will receive a $10,000 dollar award on top of their raised funding.

So… Why exactly are you still here?

Go get started on that application!

(And if you end up getting selected, drop us a line! We’d love to hear about what you’re doing.)
